Event: Asia’s budding filmmakers prepare for Shorties Film Festival 2020

The Shorties Film Festival 2020 is hosting a five-day-long celebration of Asia’s most exciting short films. HKFP is a proud media sponsor, alongside Gold Sponsor Lime Content Studios.

The third edition of Shorties will be held online from November 10 to 14. It will feature short films from independent filmmakers in Hong Kong, Singapore, Thailand, Japan, Taiwan, Vietnam and Australia.

Thirty-eight finalists were short-listed from more than 220 submissions that told unique stories from across the Asia Pacific.

At the end of each day of the festival, there will be exclusive Q&As with the filmmakers and a virtual Awards Night on the final day.
