Bethenny Frankel shared some tough confessions about her unhappy marriage to her second husband Jason Hoppy this week.
The 53-year-old Real Housewives Of New York City alumna spoke on her podcast Just B Divorced about the rapid decline in affection between the two and admitted that she had to 'force' herself to have sex with Hoppy, 53, over time because of how uninterested in being intimate with him.
Things ultimately got so terrible between the two that the reality star felt 'relieved' when she had a miscarriage at six weeks.
Bethenny — who flaunted her trim figure in a blue bikini earlier this month — began dating Hoppy in 2008, and the couple went on to tie the knot in 2010, only to separate in 2012.
She filed for divorce in 2013, and the tortuous process dragged out for years, with the exes agreeing on a custody arrangement in 2014 and a financial settlement by 2016, but the divorce wasn't completely finalized until 2021, almost a decade after they separated.

Lately, Bethenny has been detailing the painful saga of her divorce in her new podcast.
According to Bethenny, as she and Jason grew further apart their occasional sex episodes became increasingly difficult for her.
Her lack of desire for her spouse led him to accuse her of being cold in bed.
'We were laying in bed and he used to say to me, "You’re like a block of ice," because I did not want to be intimate, I did not want to have sex,' she shared.
According to her, the root issue was that she simply didn't respect her husband anymore.
'I did not want to have sex at all,' she continued. 'He used to say to me, "It feels like this bed is like a block of ice."'
When they did have sex later in their relationship, Bethenny had to do everything in her power to 'force' herself to perform, even though she found the experience nauseating.
'I used to force myself, gag myself doing it,' she said. 'It was torture.'
Despite her discomfort and trying to be intimate with Jason, it wasn't until Bethenny got pregnant again — after previously welcoming her daughter Bryn, now 13 — and then miscarried at six weeks that she was able to 'take the first step' to talk about how unhappy she was with the relationship.
'In a constructive way, I said, "I'm kind of relieved... because I don't think this is a healthy or positive relationship,"' she recalled telling Jason.
He didn't find anything positive about the experience, though.
'He said to me, "You're a real piece of s***, you know that?"' she claimed, before noting that it was a 'total relief' when he decided to spend the next few days at a hotel without her.
Bethenny will likely be delving into more dark aspects of her divorce, such as Jason's 2017 arrest for allegedly stalking her.

More recently, she has been happier with film producer and real estate developer Paul Bernon, whom she began dating later in 2018. They got engaged in 2021
He steadfastly denied her claims and accepted a plea deal requiring him to steer clear of Bethenny for six months — as enforced by a restraining order — after which point the case would be dismissed.
Following her divorce, the former Real Housewife dated the banker Dennis Shields for two years, until his death in 2018.
More recently, she has seemed happier than ever in her relationship with film producer and real estate developer Paul Bernon, whom she began dating later in 2018.
The lovebirds got engaged in 2021.
